Philosophy:

Pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period are intense emotionally, physically, and mentally. This is one of the most intimate moments in a birther's life, where they have to be trusting, vulnerable, and knowledgeable. Staci strongly believes that a birther can have the pregnancy, birth, AND postpartum experience that they desire and that the new baby moon should be exactly how the birthing person envisions it. The choices one makes in these moments will have a lasting impact on birther and baby. Staci's passion for birth work will assist the family in achieving all of their goals and desires, through empowerment, support, and informed consent.

 

Her Life, Summed Up:

Staci has been a resident of NC for three years now and absolutely loves it. She and her partner live in in Statesville, NC. with their four children and their crazy pup, Loki. Staci is very passionate about all things pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. She loves having discussions with family, friends, and strangers alike, on all things pregnancy and parenting. She finds strength in supporting women throughout life and during their journey's into motherhood for the first time or the fifth. Please feel free to ask Staci anything. She is an open book.

 

In Her Spare Time: 

Staci LOVES the outdoors. When not working, you will find her gardening, swimming, hiking, bike riding, camping and reading. Her favorite places to relax are in the mountains and sitting by any body of water, watching the wildlife. She loves to support local business and farmer's markets. She is an avid cloth diaper mom, so you may catch her sewing diapers, wipes, and inserts. She also loves baby wearing and attachment parenting.

The Nitty Gritty: 

 

 Staci is a fully trained fertility, birth, and postpartum doula through Bebo Mia, a Canadian doula training organization. She is also a fully trained placenta specialist through IPPA. She is fully certified on NC food handling and safety standards; her certification through here. She has also taken the Biologix bloodborne pathogen training course and is fully certified here, as well. She is also a certified birth and bereavement doula through stillbirthday and a certified Hypnobabies Hypno-Doula through Hypnobabies. Her certificates are available for viewing upon request.
